FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is professional photography important when selling a house?
Professional photography and video are important when selling a property because they serve as the first impression of the property for potential buyers. They provide a visual representation of the home and its features, showcasing the space and creating an emotional connection with potential buyers.
Are drone photos always needed in Florida?
In most cases yes. We are the sunshine state. Who does not want to see our beaches, parks and landmarks in your images! We will evaluate the location of the listing to determine if drone shots are necessary. Large oaks covering the roof, no surrounding features, etc. We know that your marketing dollars are precious and we will never overspend the project.
Does using media for marketing matter in real estate?
72.2% of Realtors report that high-quality photography helps them win more listings. 83% of buyers said pictures are very important in helping them choose which homes they visit. Sales agents who use professional photographers earn twice as much commission compared to others.
How long does a real estate photoshoot take?
It depends on the size of the home, but generally plan for the photography session to take around two hours. Smaller homes take less time, usually around an hour, while larger homes (larger than 2500 square feet) take between two and three hours.
How long does it take to get my media back?
Typically, it takes around 24 hours to have the images ready for viewing. Video may take up to 48 hours. Why? There is additional editing that is needed for video. The good thing is that this will not hold up listing the home. You can always add the video to the MLS the next day.
Does the real estate photographer own the photos?
The short answer is whoever took the photo unless they signed away their rights in a written agreement. This means the photographer owns the images, not the real estate agent, not the homeowner, and not the MLS unless there is a signed agreement transferring the rights of the images.
